About Pazza Notte

Midtown eatery offering Italian-American cuisine & brick-oven pizza plus a vibrant bar and outdoor seating.

Located at 1801 L St #10, Sacramento, CA 95811, Pazza Notte operates as a pizza restaurant serving Sacramento in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 4–8:30 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (916) 706-2997. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, pazzanotte.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 398 reviews, which is a strong result for a pizza restaurant in Sacramento and suggests consistent service.

Sacramento is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Traffic in Sacramento peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Ambiance: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Food: 5/5 Drinks: 5/5 Price: 4/5 Parking: 4/5 Came by on a Tuesday night with a reservation. The mushroom risotto is the second best pasta dish I’ve ever had. It was great. All of the food and drinks were a hit. Definitely get a reservation though, as they are pretty busy!

The food was okay overall, but I really loved the crispy calamari appetizer! The portion was generous for the price and definitely worth ordering. The overall experience was pleasant, but the service could have been better. At the beginning, a female server was very attentive and checked on us regularly. However, after her shift ended, our server was a male employee who rarely checked on our table. We waited quite a while for assistance, and I even had to ask another server for help when I wanted to request a birthday ice cream. Overall, we had a nice time.

Took my friend here for his birthday and had a really great time overall. We started with martinis, I got the Sicilian and he got the Thinker, and both were fantastic. The extra they pour into the shaker on the side essentially makes it 2.5 drinks, which is a very generous touch. The calamari was a great choice to share: a big serving and delicious. For dinner we went with the tagliata di manzo and the east side pizza. The steak was tender and flavorful, but the real standout was the salad that came alongside it, genuinely one of the best bites of the night and something I'll 100% be coming back for. The pizza was decent but not something I'd order again. Our waiter was attentive and did a great job spacing out our courses, which was especially appreciated since the patio table is on the smaller side. The patio itself has a lot of charm, though the flies were relentless and made it hard to enjoy the outdoor setting, next time I'd opt to sit inside. Overall a solid spot with some real standout moments. The martinis and that tagliata salad alone are worth a return visit.

I was astounded by this place. This was our second time visiting and we were blown away by the service and the food. Here are some stand out things our server Armand did: Offered a bag hook for my purse. Recommended drink based on my preference. Checked on me and how I enjoyed my dish since I didn't finish my shrimp. Not only was the Hospitality wonderful but the food was top tier. I recommend the Vodka Penne! And the tiramisu has been in the family's recipes for years. It was quiet, but lively and warm. We visited between 4-6 on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised! Thank you Pazza Notte for a wonderful date night.

Pazza Notte is clearly a very popular spot in Midtown. The night I went, it was packed and lively, with a DJ playing music and a fun, energetic atmosphere. I sat at the bar and had a great experience overall. I ordered a martini, penne Γ  la vodka, and a Caesar salad. The martini was excellent, and the pasta was absolutely amazingβ€”rich, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Easily the standout of the meal. The Caesar salad, however, missed the mark for me. It didn’t taste like a traditional Caesar dressing at all and came across more like a watered-down buttermilk dressing. I’d love to see them improve or rethink that dressing because the rest of the food was so strong. The waitstaff were wonderfulβ€”friendly, attentive, and clearly handling a busy crowd with ease. There’s also a lovely outdoor seating area, which adds to the appeal. Overall, great vibes, great drinks, and fantastic pasta. I’d definitely returnβ€”just skipping the Caesar next time.
